The Team
Alison Hughes, Founder and Coach
An International Coaching Federation PCC certified coach, Alison is inspired by helping people effect positive change – through their careers and their personal lives. Her approach is supportively challenging, non-judgmental and always positive.
As well as her coaching expertise, Alison’s own career path and life experience contribute to her credentials in these areas. Her 20 year consulting career includes over ten years in executive search; coaching and advising senior professionals on how to achieve their career aspirations. She built and ran her own search business in the City and has enjoyed many fruitful life transitions of her own.
Roderic Yapp, Associate Coach
Roderic is an International Coaching Federation professionally accredited coach (PCC). A former Royal Marines Officer, Roderic led Marines on operations around the world. Highlights include serving in Afghanistan in 2007, evacuating civilians from Libya during the Arab Spring and leading the recapture of the 55,000-ton MV Montecristo from pirate control in 2011. He left the Royal Marines to work in the uranium enrichment industry before starting his own leadership development organisation.
He uses these experiences to support executives through change and transition, enabling enhanced career progression and fulfilment.
Cara Moore, Associate Coach
Cara is an International Coaching Federation professionally accredited coach (PCC), and an experienced group facilitator. Cara’s early career was as a Chartered Surveyor, and she brings her first-hand understanding of working in a traditionally male-dominated sector to her work as well as the challenges of being a working parent. Cara believes that growth, innovation and better decision making in organisations comes from having a diverse workforce and an inclusive and coaching culture.
Cara encourages people to open their minds and to lead others (and themselves) authentically with vulnerability and courage. She brings warmth, wisdom and insights to all her coaching engagements.
